What happend with my foal?
  • I put this mare in the pasture and bred "all pastures". It says that bothe her and the stud have a offspring and are "bred this year" but I cant find the foal and when I look at "Family" of the mare or stud I cant see any offsprings.. Why??
    Help me ;'(

  • Looks like you probably had a lethal gene combination and the foal died. What stallion did you breed her to?
    #28036
  • White 1 with White to is a high risk pair :)}

This link explains which pairs are lethal :D

  • Ok thanks :)
that will take some time to understand ut now i know that i cant breed 2 KIT horses :)
    image
  • You can breed two kit horses. You just have to be careful which kit genes you mix and match. Certain Kit genes can be high risk or just plain lethal when paired. Paradise Park posted a very helpful link. I've been playing for several years and still have to reference the risk chart every once in a while.

  • Ok, hehe. Its very complicated :D
    This mare for ex:
    image
    Frosty SZ

She has no KIT and no WF (or minimal) and I looked at the appaloosa gene and for what I understand non of that is leathal? I cant seem to understand where I see for ex: W2 gene in a horse?
    image
  • Appy has now effect on the Kit genes nor does Splash but certain mixes of Splash are lethal. (Can't remember which)
    To find the w2, etc.
Down the bottom with all the other letters/gene results it will say. Kitw20, Kitw, Kitr, etc :)

  • There is a really nice chart around here somewhere, I believe @Confluence made it a while ago. I'll see if I can find it for you
  • So Frosty has no "danger" genes but Winterbell has with her KitKitw2? Am I starting to get it? haha :))
    image
  • Hmmm... I look att the pictures of the different Kit colors ut I cant seem to understand what Kitr and KITto is? :-/
    image
  • I can't take credit for that terrific chart, I am very much an amateur when it come to the genes! Stefliz, do you understand that part ParadisePark mentioned, the list of genes? I do OK until they throw in appaloosa, then I give up! Then, of course, there are the INVISIBLE genes, it's like having to take maths class all over again!
    image
  • Kit r is easy! That is where Roan lives!
Kit To is where Tobiano lives!

I THINK that since Frosty has WF: Minimal, she may have a little bit of danger genes.
    image
  • @Confluence Farms yes i did and found all the genes. Klicked on all of them and have been reading but if my horse just have Kit r and Kit to how do i know if it has a dengarus gene? Like W10 or W2? On the pics it doesnt say Kit t :-/
    image
  • Town and tobiano aren’t dangerous and play well with others. White and sabino are found on the same spot. You can only have 2 kit genes so if your horse has roan and tobiano then you don’t have to worry about w2 or w10
