Year 31 foals
-
I know we are all super excited about the new breeding season, especially those who have spent up big in he GMT lab! Show off your new shiny, special or simply surprising foals here!
-
And I have my first surprise! This guy came out of my Grullo pasture. Look at that blue eye in the almost pure black coat! And he passed all his tests and papered B! Swoon....
-
He's adorable!! I love him!!
I can't breed yet :( sigh... -
I'll post some cute foals here tomorrow. My pretty bay ice roan dun stallion now is 3 years old, so I have a nice stud.understand the significance of signatures
-
Gorgeous Cheers! I got a little chestnut with a blue eye, and two GP foals this morning. Both Perlinos. I will post photos later, I am off to work.
-
If that nose gets sunburned in the summer, you'll have a Rudolph, Cheers. :D
He's stunning.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

-
oooh, she is nice. :)
-
I know, Sandy! Yet another case of love it on the game, would HATE it in real life! Poor baby would always be sunburned Down Under which means....cancer factory....
-
And Bays she is stunning! Too bad she didn't get more Sabino expression....
-
*sigh* My mare had been in the pasture for 5 days... I thought she would give the foal boost.
Turns out my first foal of the year was... not what I hoped for.
Inconsistent... Which I dont breed for because it makes it hard for me to tell what score the horse will make next..
If anyone wants him, I will sell him to you. *sigh sigh sigh sigh*
He was cute though.

That bay filly looks like she has DP.

Have only one pair bred so far...the results surprised me a little haha.

White Brown Rabicano. I was hoping for black first off and also something with more 50/50 color vs white...not quite what I thought would happen haha! She did pass all her testing at least.
-
Sigh....those extensive white factor whites are frustrating.... I love her underlying genes tho!!!!

This isnt a foal but i just created this mare ( not using a HH) shes liver and intactLife is Special live it to your fullest -
This is Conspire's first foal. LOVE her markings. It looks like there's an owl on her belly. Do you see it?.
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=339868
-
Whoa Abbey, amazing!
-
Life is Special live it to your fullest
-
Wow Abbey, I do see it! It even has big owl eyes. Pretty baby, one of my favorite patterns.
Baya, I love your liver gelding, very unique variation of the color.
Here's my little blue eyed chestnut. My very first foal for the season. Didn't make the cut though, spayed.
And my two perlinos GP's:
And, this one also didn't make the cut, gelded. -
Yaaaaaay! I got it!
In past breeding season I bred an ice stallion. Now he's 3 years old, today I bred him with several nice mares and even if most of foals haven't ice or were sold to FSYYC after getting gelded/spayed after the tests, I kept one mare - unfortunately spayed, but I love her!
Her color is Silver Bay Roan Ice Splash. I must try to breed more ice foals today!understand the significance of signatures -
I finally hit the genetic lottery! Going through my pasture babies, and doth my eyes deceive? No! Amber Champagne Roan Tobiano Rabicano BRINDLE! My very first second generation brindle.
RC Big Mim ll

Brindle looks so cool on champagne! Congrats.
-
Wow, that's cool! I'm glad the tobiano didn't show up. I'd hate to have the brindle obscured. :P
-
Congratulations!
I'm trying to breed a brindle during every breeding season. I have two brindle mares and, unfortunately, no 2nd gen brindles.understand the significance of signatures -
Just got this Beauty! -
@Abbey Road, I see the owl. That is so neat.
@Baya, that liver chestnut gelding is beautiful!
@PaintsStables, the chestnut with the blue eye is gorgeous.
@Ripshin Creek, congrats on the brindle!
@ScarletCarson, that is beautiful. I love the face swirly face markings. -
I've made progress this season in breeding my tiniest, most adorable pony yet! Her grandsire was the first stallion I owned, a Texas Tea. Her dam is my favorite foal of his and this is her first breeding season. She threw me one of my new favorites. I could not have designed a better looking pony from this pairing. And she's only 12.3 hh! My new record. :)

-
She is adorable, Rose Ridge Farm!
-
My new homozygous KP gen 2 intact B papered colts. I got a little crazy taking the roan of their SPW mom... Love them both!!! Can't wait to see how the rest of her eggs turn out! -
@Cheers, they're absolutely lovely! I like this lighter belly of the first foal and dapples and white patrerns of the second. Congrats!
EDIT: Is it a Bay Ice Splash Frame? Yes, it is! Yay!understand the significance of signatures -
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=340736
It sucks i had to geld this colt cause he passed all testing but he needed to paper star to stay intact, but i pt'd him this morning and i broke the 12pt barrier! He performance tested at 12.4!Life is Special live it to your fullest -
Congrats Baya!
I got one with my favorite pattern, but he was 'showable only.'
Sizzlin Mosquito: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=340637
Then I got another one with my favorite pattern from the same stallion. She is intact.
Sizzlin Reed: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=340636
-
I love all the babies, I can't wait to see how they mature next breeding season!
-
@Cheers, those colts are gorgeous!
@Pine Stables, I love the way the ice mixes with the bay. And neat markings.
@PaintsStables, Sizzlin Mosquito is going to be a show stopper in the ring. So flashy!
Edit: This is my first foal of the season. He passed gelding advice, SAT, and Stallion papering. My dilemma is that he papered C.
Everlasting Lite -
Rits, did you compare him? Occasionally a C will compare as good as a B, in which case I'd keep him... if not, snip. Was the straw guaranteed? He is adorable, though.. I love the ones that just have little wispys.
-
Rose ridge, you inspired me to get my minis line going. Here's my new ponyboy.... 13.0 hh.
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=340360 -
Abbey and Rose Ridge, I hope you are prepared for the havoc those ponies are going to wreak! The smaller, the feistier in my experience! But the cuteness factor is astronomical!
Pine, that ice foal is gorgeous, looks like syrup bring mixed into a milkshake! (Or maybe I'm just hungry, but I love it!).
Baya that gelding is beautiful and I hope he earns you a ton of show points.
Paints, Sizzlin Reed is one of the best looking foals I've seen this season--love the bright bay with that crisp white!
Rits, I love that KP! I have my fingers crossed he compares super well or that your straw was guaranteed and you get another stunning baby! -
Thanks everyone! Sizzlin Reed is the only one that passed testing, all the others with that pattern that I got from Toad didn't make the cut, male and female. If I remember correctly, I got 4 from him with that pattern this season so far. Toad is 18 so I am going to get a couple more from him this season. I already pulled straws.
I just love everyone's foal crop so far, very nice. Lots of cool patterns and colors. -
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=341140
I love this filly out of maeves mark. Her stockings are perfect and her blaze is cute tooLife is Special live it to your fullest -
Abbey, my 2nd gen pony would love to meet your colt when he comes of age. ;)
-
So many pretties! Congrats everyone, I love all the patterns.
This is my favorite so far. Love his dark color with the silver. I have lots more to breed though once pastures open up.
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=340649
Silver brown with DP I'm thinking. Any other ideas on his color?SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES
Barn ID - 2358 -
Well he cant be a chestnut, looks like a Silver Brown Rabicano with dpLife is Special live it to your fullest
-
Neither parent carries At, so not brown. I think he's a double Ssty het DP liver chestnut with flaxen.
This girl from my DP stallion has similar coloring. -
I think Flaxen DP. There's a small possibility of bay but not brown (no At), but generally you see more shading on the legs with bays, and not quite this shade on silver bays.
-
rose, most likely he'll be for public stud but if not remind me!
