It's summer in NZ. We're in the southern hemisphere and it's been getting really hot. Some places were already on a drought warning. But today it was lovely weather, because it rained! I don't know if it got to the places where it needs to be, but at least it rained before christmas~
To me, it's never christmas without the hot weather, and a large lunch/dinner with family. Or taking a trip to the beach and having a shared lunch there.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

I live in Ontario in Canada, and we were late getting snow here, but it is here now! It does not seem like Christmas if it is not snowy.

Ohio just got the big snow today. So it finally feels like winter, this time last week we were in the upper 40s/lower 50s. Not that I'm much of a fan of winter... I'd just like it to not be snowing in late April. Haha

Unseasonably Cool here in Queensland! I’m thankful it’s not in the high 30s here since we are heading to Texas, Arkansas and then Vancouver and Whistler in a few days! Going from 30C to 30F!!!

Warming back up here in Southern California. The Santa Ana winds and even warmer Temps expected this weekend. We are worried the Lilac Fire will get started again. The fires up north are still real bad. No snow for us in the mountains yet.

@ConfluenceFarms. It took a lot of different pairings and pasture breeding with my pairs to get them where they are. I am very pleased where my horses are with points in the Gulastra Plume Club.
@HiddenCreek. It is 98% contained this morning. We are real close to the Lilac fire. Within 3 miles, but the people I know that were closer to it managed to have everything safe. Sad news, for North County, one of our local firefighters died in the Thomas Fire up in Ventura yesterday. Prayers for his family. He is survived by his 2 year old daughter, and his wife is 5 months pregnant with his second daughter. -
Prayers for all that are impacted by the fires, or in the path of the fires. Hoping they get these fires put out soon.
