How many sell or buy there horses on Savvyland Horse Auctions? If there's not so many, why?
I found out that i could put up horses for auction there and could put up a startingbid wich i liked. Why is it not more popular? -
When I look for horses in the auction, I use the horse search feature so that I can sort through to find exactly what I'm looking for. I believe by using the search it checks both auction houses. So I personally don't go through the Private Auction all too often.Thanked by 1Stefliz

I have too many horses, so I have stopped looking in auctions at all much anymore. When I do it is usually in a "let's save ponies from the auction bidder and put them in my show barn" spree. Not suggesting that you put horses at risk though, since many go through un bid on.

It takes more time. For people with lots of foals going into the auction each month, being able to just dump a barnload of horses in at once is super convenient. And most of the horses I put in personally, don't meet my particular breeding standards, so I assume they won't go for much, if at all.
If I do end up with some excess, meet-all-my-standards, fancy gene colts then I usually place them for sale in chat rooms for the set price I want for them.
The private auction also isn't available for non-upgraded members (I think) which I suspect contributes to the lack of entries and sales.
Hope this helps! :DThanked by 1Stefliz -
The public auction house is a guaranteed sale. The private one is not. Most people need to get rid of as many horses as fast as possible. Hence using public more.

Horses that don't sell in the private auction just stay in your barn, they don't 'move out of the game', like the public auction. The horses usually have higher starting bids, and ending up costing more.Thanked by 1Stefliz

@Kalilm Thanks! O:-) But when you sell horses in chats, do you start a new puplic chatroom or what do you mean/do? :\">
-
I made my own chatroom fore sales and auctions but icant figure out how to put up an horse on auktion there, only fore sale?
-
@Stefliz So when I put up horses for sale in a chatroom, it's usually gene specific chatrooms like kit M or white 8, so people interested in that specific gene will see the horse. Horses in chat rooms go up for set prices rather than auction, which means if the horse sells, you'll definitely get the price you wanted for it.
I do have my own chat room but that's usually for privately organised sales/breeding.Thanked by 1Stefliz -
You CAN run an auction in your chat room, I suppose, but it would only be among the people who are members of that chat room.Thanked by 1Stefliz

Most people run an auction on the forum then put the horse up for the final bid in their chat room for the winner to pick upThanked by 1Stefliz
