The geek flag thread revealed lots of crafty people doing art and cosplay and sewing and costuming and other cool stuff, and I'm craftily obsessed so I thought I'd open up an opportunity to share projects you're working on or have worked on, or costumes, or Breyers, or whatever hobby you want to share.

I'm obsessively creative and can't stick to one thing... I make chainmaille and wire jewelry (professionally), photography (semi-professionally), paint/draw (I have sold some but I'm a slacker with it so can't currently say professionally), henna, paint miniatures for gaming, origami, crochet, and recently have started tinkering with sewing and digital art. There's probably more stuff. So I have lots to share, but right now I'll share jewelry and a painting. More later.

I love making wire trees, both jewelry and as decoration.

I do tons of craft project with my kids and dabble in a little bit of everything but my passion is a pencil and paper. I've done a few that I've sold. Here is just a taste.

Fj, these are great! I'm going into an art school next fall, so maybe I should post something of mine. :P I did one of American Pharoah. This one is already posted somewhere, so here. :D

I started making duct tape crafts a few years ago. I made everyone in my family something for Christmas. They were mostly flowers, and only in black and white with glow-in-the-dark accents because that's what I had. I think they turned out well, but I don't have any pictures already hosted and I'm in a waiting room. :P

I illustrate and animate, mainly animals but sometimes I draw the odd person.

Rose, do you mean how big is the pendant or the painting? The pendant is about an inch and a half, and I think the painting was 5x7... it was a small one.

royal, if you have pics of your stuff on the web somewhere you can click the pic link at the top and insert the photo url (which you get by right clicking and selected "copy image location").

Beautiful crafts, drawings and paintings by everyone. We have some very talented members here.

I am an artist, I do oils, acrylic and pastels. I have been doing it for many years. I show in Art Shows and Fairs in Oregon, Washington and California. I have many awards for my paintings, and have done many commissions over the years.

I will have to figure out how to get the photos on here, the pic location is not working for some reason. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, so put in links to them instead.

I crochet and have for years, I learned to crochet from looking at finished pieces or watching my grandma crochet. Then Momma made me learn to read printed patterns and I am really glad she did. I love crocheting for my family. I also make all kinds of things from plastic canvas. I love making wall hangings from it and I am going to make an Arabian wall hanging next.

I also design and make jewelry and have for years. I am not sure that I enjoy the designing or the making more. I also make beaded home decor items. Then to round things out, I love cross stitch and try and work it in when I can.

Some of my photography...

That last one was just for fun... I was playing with my fisheye lens and my dog's nose. It was a real challenge to get my submissive dog to let me shoot right up his nose (it had to be real close) but treats work wonders :)
