Ok, so I was thinking about maybe GMTing some horses while the sale is going on, but I have a few questions. So, first, I was wondering if I should GMT sooty+ on my Meteoric baby? I love the way s+ looks, but she's only yellow papered. And then, I was wondering if I should turn one of my foals into a wb instead of a draft. He's really uneven, but he's gorgeous so I'll probably get pretty show horses out of him in the future :) I always like to make a discussion before I do things to make sure I'm making the right choice :))

Lightning has a bone of 2.54, and wbs become drafts at 2.50. I'd keep him as he is, because if you're going to use him to breed show ponies, bone shouldn't matter at all, but he should be able to throw a ton of wbs for you.

Note that you don't HAVE to breed even generations. If you want, you could just breed your meteoric filly to C papered stallions if you want intact babies from her. Breeding even quality ((papers matching)) gives the most chance of intact babies. If you do do that, then you may as well put S+ onto her.

The S+ would look lovely on her, if you put it on instead of the S won't it make her liver? :)
Oh and I agree Frosted looks very pretty!

@ChilliFireFarm she won't be liver because the only darkening genes she can get are from her father. Mum has no copy of sooty at all. Only brindle and a single w20.

That's why it was a question! Thanks @ObsidianKitsune. So that means you can only change the Sty to S+ and cannot change the S to S+ as one gene must come from mum? I haven't used GMTs yet. Just wondering how it works..

Yup! The first allele in the genetic information is from dad, the second is from mum. Because both parents have two each, you can change one allele that you got from dad to the other one that he has. But you MUST have 1 copy from dad, 1 copy from mum.

Ok, so I'm definitely doing S+, and I'll probably scroll through the rest of my horses and see what I can do. Yay, my first time GMTing :))
