Hello!!!! Have you gone to the Available to Adopt program and adopted your 2 show horses? I'd highly suggest that if you havnt I don't have the link but @Confluince has the link available :)
Work on trying to get High pointed horses at the auction so it boosts your daily show bonus! It takes a while to start building up your heard I've only been on for 3 months now :) -
Welcome to the wonderful world of Hunt and Jump.
A good first step is to read over the FAQ and the Breeding Info linked at the bottom of the left menu. It's a complex game, so don't hesitate to ask any questions you have after doing that. We're always happy to help new players find their feet.
One very important thing is that this game is not a competition between the players. Each of us sets our own goals and works to achieve them. The "opponent" is the life-like variability and uncertainty built into almost every aspect of the game. Just as, in real life you can breed two black horses together and get a chestnut (or even a palomino), so it happens in this game. It's a great place to have fun learning how any genetics work, but especially horse color genetics.
To find some good all-around horses, click on Community on the left and select Search Horses. Then enter 13 into the owner ID spot, and check For Sale at the upper right. This takes you to the Foundation Rescue. All the horses there are Perfect Foundations, which means that they have 100% breeding ability and 100% showing ability. They also will add the same number of points to their show scores whenever you train them, and their score will be the same both times you show them in a week.
De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
