I'm starting a new line so I need some horses! I am being very picky about what I want but I do have a lot of hbs so im willing to pay a lot for the right horse. I would like to start with Foundations but I understand there might not be a lot of foundies with these genes.

FOUNDATION
- White 8 or White M Mares
- White M Stallion (If possible)

2 GEN
- White 8 or White M Mares
- Must be evenly bred
- Must be Red or higher

3 GEN
- White 8 or White M Mares
- Must be evenly bred
- Bust be Red or higher

I am looking for warmbloods but might consider tall sport ponies. I will pay more for horses with the following although it is not required for the horse to have theses.

- High PT (For Generation)
- Proven Breeders
- Under 10 years old
- Higher Paper level then required
- No Frame
- Consistent

You're gonna have a very hard time getting foundations with those genes as it costs a lot to make them (KitM costs 40 GMTs per copy and Kitw8 costs 20 GMTs per copy in the GMT lab). You might be able to get straws and eggs from foundies but I doubt anyone is going to sell them. I might have more 3G KitM studs next season but I already sold mine from last season :(

@AHayesHorses I had a feeling that it would be hard to get some foundies but it was worth a shot. This line is probably going to take a season or two to get up and running so I would be more then happy to see what you got next season!

@Kalilm They are all drop dead gorgeous! But unfortunately like AHayesHorses mentioned I don't own the Macchiato gene but thanks for showing them to me, it was a pleasure just to look at them!

@kassierae I haven't gotten any White 8 or M mares yet and when I do they will most likely be bred this year already but I LOVE his color so I might have to take you up on that offer once I see around how many foundies I can get my hands on (If any) :-))

I highly doubt you'll get any foundations. You may get offers for straws and maybe eggs but those two genes are expensive in the GMT lab and they arent genes that are in any of the creates not even rank specials. Your best bet is to ask for straws and eggs if people will part with them and/or get some 2g stock.

I can sell you straws from him. He has both kitm and kitw8. He is a little tough to get intact foals with, though. I haven't bred him much, but all of his were snipped by SBA. I'll be trying him on some pasture mares next month to see if I can get any intact.

I have a 2nd gen liver with splash and kitm that I could sell straws from. He is inconsistent but he has been producing beautiful consistent foals so far.

@Artemis87 He is very pretty and I do love his offspring but like I said to DevilsParadise I don't have any white M or 8 mares yet so I don't want to spend a ton of money on straws until I have a solid line to breed them to. But I do have some 4G mares that might be a good match. How much are the straws?

I've never sold straws before, but I know their 500 per pull, so I'd say 600 each? Want to stay cheap because using them is a little pricey and I can't guarantee that anything would be intact. Also, you may want too take a look at the lethality chart before you buy any. W8 can be lethal with other white genes.

So, quick question. To sell multiple straws at once, do I set the price per straw (600) or do I multiply 600 by for to get the final price for them?

@Wolfgang Pride, Thanks so much for showing your stallions to me. I have enough straws for now but I might just have to buy a few things from those stallions in the future :)

@DevilsParadise you make one straw offer at a time so you set 1 straw for 600 hbs and make that same offer 4 diffrent times :)

You could still start your line by breeding solid colored mares to the straws you have and any stallions up for live cover that have the genes you want. That is what I would suggest doing since it looks like there's not a lot of mares available to you.

This is usually what I do when I want to incorporate a new gene into my herd is just use the mares I already have and breed to Stallions with the genes I want.

@Salvistar That's what I'm planning on doing right now. My splash Tobiano line is going to be bred to a white M stallion I bought a few days ago but it never hurts to look for new mares to get the line into full swing in a few seasons. Thanks for the advice though :)

I have a B Papered W8 RH stallion I could stud out to you or sell you straws! He is higher bone density for a RH and has produced Warmbloods! I also have a 3G Red papered warmblood filly by him I could sell you.

Yes it only costs 1 GMT per gene if the parents carry that gene and her dad carries Kitm and pearl you could add to her for 2 GMT ill send you a link of her :)
