The main way to make money in this game is show horses. Every day, at roughly 3am game time, we get given a certain amount of money based on how many points we have in our barn. Some people have so many show horses, they get over half a mil each day! It takes a while to get it going. I've been playing since Feb, and only get 3k a day.

Second, the upgrade is worth it. Even if you have to spend a month putting together the hbs to buy it with in game money. However the premium upgrade, gotten with real money, gives a lot more features and money and is very tempting to those of us who don't have it.

Third, if you haven't already, read the FAQ. If you still don't understand something, ask on the forum. We're a very friendly bunch and all understand that new people can be a bit confused about the same, especially since we too were new once upon a time!

A finally, just experiment to begin with. Breed different colours and different sizes until you find out what you like. Don't feel pressured to begin lines as soon as you can. This game takes time and patience, and our mantra is "there's always next season!"
