If You have a Fantasy FOUNDATION Horse (Closed Gene) and you want to gift it to someone...how do you go about doing that??? Is it just a regular sale???

When I was gifted a foundation Ice 13 mare, I purchased her for 1hb through a buddy chat. So I think the answer is yes.

Though I'm not entirely positive given that it isn't quite the season for gifting and Ammit was the one that included me into the exclusive buddy chat after the purchase, so I imagine she knew about the transaction.

If you have a buddy chat, you could always put it up in there for 1 hb and add the other person to the chat. Or if it won't allow you to put it up for less than 500, you could always send them 500 hbs back if you have enough money to do that.

@Olio900 but does that work for CLOSED genes...as I didn't think you could sell them to people who don't own a foundation, even though you are trying to give them a foundation LOL

Ah, I didn't think of that. I am not sure. I don't actually own any closed genes myself, so I am probably not the best person to try to help now that I think about it. Well, I hope you figure it out :)

You need to clear the sale with Ammit first. Likely it won't be a problem, but you need to let her know. Your best bet is to message her rather than tagging her, as it's not urgent.

People have done both :) but as long as youre gifting a foundation with the genes she usually has no problem but like Cheers said just send her a message to ask first to make sure

Just remember that if you don't have any other foundations with the gene, you will have to sell all your lined ones too, or they will have their gene removed.

When I got the Axiom stud made for AHayes, I put a note in the Paypal payment that he was going to her. I gifted (sell for X# hbs) him to her after he was GMT'd.

Ammit said it is fine to sell foundations in buddy sales :)
