Horse Adult Coloring Books
-
I'd like to see an adult coloring book of nothing but horses that have very little detail on the horses themselves, and like backgrounds that aren't too complex. So then we could color them anyway we want and add the patterns we want. And have like a pose like the horses on HaJ. Could you imagine a HaJ coloring book?
(I'm seriously just so bored waiting on August 3rd so I can breed my A papered stud) -
I love this idea!DivineDreams ~ 30908

When I'm warming up on my drawing tablet, I actually pull up pictures of some of my horses in HuntandJump and either recolor them or design my own tack for them.Be not afraid to ask questions. You're not the only idiot in the room.
Striving to become a quality Draft breeder. -
@TomCat, I have three copies of "Big Book of Horses to Color" by: John Green. Some of the horses have patterns/tack on them, as well as some complicated backgrounds, but quite a few of them are also relatively blank for your own creative inspiration. One of my favorite pictures to color is of three horses galloping through water. :)Thanked by 1RoseFlute

@Ritsika I think Im gonna order that lol I have a horse coloring book... I cant remember what its called right now but a lot of it is a lot of detail and patterns in the horses. I like it but sometimes you just want something a little more simple! Thats probably why I have a decent collection of adult coloring books lol.

I own a very old Breyer model horse coloring book, it was bought when I was about 5 (I'm almost 18 now, just have to wait til the 20th of next month) so the horses were so sloppily colored and they were so simple and had little detail and I loved it. I then bought a Breyer stablemates coloring book, but I seem to have lost it.

I hunt the interwebs for horse coloring pages :) This one was completed in color pencil
Decision making is not my strong point.
For the next 72 hours I’ll be focusing on _____ (insert breeding goal here).Thanked by 1Xceptional -
Oh, I looooved John Green when I was younger. I think I have that book, too! I'd take my crayola set of watercolors and xerox some pages--I remember that was the only way I got through the Billy Budd audiobook in high school. :P

There are adult coloring books with all horses on Amazon. They run around $10-$15 markWatercolor, Chinchilla, Axiom, Nexus, Wrong Warp, Nacre, Ice 5/8, Satin and Pearl

I think most of the Horse coloring books from Dover Publishing have fairly blank horses (sometimes with tack and riders) other than markings associated with the breed. The backgrounds are more detailed but also a breed associated.
There is:
The Wonderful World of Horses
Horses of the World
Favorite Horses
My Horse
Big Book of Horses to Color (I think this is 2 or 3 of the other books combined)
Horses of the Old West
Horse Anatomy
Ponies of the World
Great Racehorses
Horses in Battle
*Most of these are by John Green
