So with the new season starting, people are getting excited about being able to breed some horses. I for one haven't had my past couple breeding seasons go very well, but I do have a couple I can't wait to breed.

I have this Star papered fella who will give me some great silver black babies, as soon as I get some Gold or A papered Mares for him

He and my King's Ransom stud are sharing the big pasture this season. I only got 3 intact foals from him last season, but I love the ice gene he throws :)

2G Deductive Snowflake
My first season with a homozygous Snowflake mare. Eee! I hope to breed her to an outside stallion that is possibly liver or sooty because I love the liver chestnut snowflake horses. The white snowflakes are so pretty against their darkish, red coloring.

This little girl had to be GMTed to be homo DP. Most of my DP horses this year missed the gene.

I don't have any specific horses coming of age that I am excited about. But... I am pretty excited about my first full season of clan mating. I can't wait to see what my first crop of clan foals looks like. :)

I'm going to have a reasonably big breeding year this year, I have about 70ish breedable mares, not that I have room for 70 more horses ;)

This guy I've just bought and he is heterozygous snowflake, I didn't really want a stallion with frame but he was an offer I couldn't resist.

My breeding program is still pretty small and I massively downsized earlier this month to try to increase quality and bring up color. In general I'm excited to see how those changes reflect in the foals I'll get next season.
