He is probably my most frame-looking frame horse. I have lots of horses that have frame but don't express it very loudly lol

I will have to watch those two movies. Are they kid friendly? My kids love watching horse movies with me.

Dreamer is very kid friendly. The cast is awesome--Dakota Fanning is the main character. Um. I should say the horse breaks down on the racetrack at the beginning of the film. It doesn't die, but that initial accident is a little scary, especially if you understand the sport.

Stardust is fairly kid friendly but has some scary bits and some slightly romantic bits, Robert De Niro as a homosexual pirate and one nude scene by Michelle Pfeiffer (from the back and it's pretty quick, but still). Probably not appropriate for really little kids. It's based on the graphic novel by Neil Gaiman. It is not really a horse movie--more a fairy tale that happens to have lots of horses in it. Another amazing cast here.

Actually, the more I think about Stardust, it's not all that kid friendly. You should check it out for yourself before you let your kids watch it. I don't have kids....so I do have trouble gauging what might be ok and what might not be....

@Cheers Hidalgo looked to be splash + frame. I havent watched it in a really long time but Id say thats what he probably was

@fj1482 (and I suppose anyone else who likes watching movies with horses!) I watched a movie on netflix like two weeks ago. Its called Albion The Enchanted Stallion I think. Its not so much a horse movie but has a gorgeous Friesian in it. Well a couple since he had "backups" Its definitely a kid movie and kinda corny like almost all horse movies but I really liked it lol. It was fairytale-ish and cute.
I also watched free rein which is like a 10 episode netflix series. Its kinda like the newer version of saddle club lol but also cute for kids!

I have a soft spot for the frame look, but try to keep it out of my herd as much as possible. Most of the ones I have that do have it do not really show it.

Last last guy makes me want to go out and snag the trail ride pack. He's always reminded me more of a western horse than a hunter.
