How does it work?

I have a 2G inconsistent filly that papered red but was spayed. If I used a GMT to make her perfectly consistent would that boost her enough to use another GMT to unalter her to pass BA?

Should work out. I'd have a better idea of her dam was papered but she looks good. Perfectly consistent should put her PT in the 10 plus range.

Her dam is yellow. Just checked.

You can try it. Remember that PT has no bearing on her breeding ability. A boost might raise her breeding ability to pass BA, although there isn't a guarantee. However, since she papered higher than her dam, the odds are pretty good.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

I had a blue filly by 2 Reds that was altered last month and a few said that she was probably just super super inconsistent.
My thoughts are if you fix the inconsistency then they should pass BA. Dont know if thats true and dont want to waste GMT's if its not going to work. She's super pretty though so if I could get her to pass without spending real money, I'd be up for it. -
I got a blue filly from a B RS and a yellow. I didn't have a lot of red mares, so I was pretty much breeding for show horses. I was shocked when she showed up. Blue and passed all testing, and a second gen.

My Liver stud did a great job throwing DP and great patterns this time and lots of fillies but 99% were altered. I think I'm going to stick all of his mares in the pasture this next time around so next season I'll hopefully have a boat load of intact Dp's.
