@Goobanni, I'm almost positive that hom w10 is nearly always lethal so that may not be the best idea...

And holy poop, this is a lot for a 2G B papered colt! @-) He's very pretty though! I was hoping that I could purchase an intact Milestone foal since mine was snipped by breeding advice and I'm not going to waste money boosting her since I doubt she'd even make it to Red. It looks like these are going to be way out of most people's price range (at least the ones that have either w10 or sp3) so it seems like most of us who got a snipped foal are just out of luck. :( I was hoping that the 4th of July event might be another Milestone straw but no such luck. Oh well! I knew as soon as I saw Milestone that if I got a foal with w10 or sp3 it'd be snipped and if it only got the w3 it would stay intact, since that's always what happens with my foals lol. Sometimes I really hate being right...

@WindwardFarm Yes, after some searching I would agree with you. I have never heard of W10 before. I hadn't even noticed that you can search for it. I suppose that's what happens when it isn't in the GMT lab, no one notices :)

Intact- Stallion-DRAFT-Million Horse-W10 (There aren't a lot intact with W10) You can't GMT it in the lab :)

The draft people definitely seem like they're willing to pay more for quality horses than the WB people, and the riding horses and ponies of any bone density seem to generally cost the least amount of money. It's kind of funny because in real life, high quality WBs generally sell for massive amounts of money while Drafts usually don't sell for high prices even when they're good quality.

If he has W10 or Splash 3, you should do just fine on straws from a B colt.

And as for why I'm willing to pay so much for him, mostly to do with him being a smaller draft, less so the W10! And his dam with DP too. Everyone else has warmbloods!

No but he has patterns I want in my KP herd and they'd have KP. It will delay my homozygous KP babies til gen 4 in that part of the line but it's worth it to me.
