2 Stallions in one pasture

Hey there, if I have 2 Stallions in the pasture, how do they pick which stallions breeds?

Using this thread to ask my own, somewhat similar question! If I have a 100 mare pasture and only one stallion in it, will it breed randomly still or will he only breed to the first 50?

I've found that they breed randomly but when one of the stallions hi their 50 you have to take them out of the pasture and then hit the breed button again so the other stallion gets the remaining mares.
