What are the brackets for bone density to determin Rh Wb and Draft?

I think riding horses are below 1.5, drafts are above 2.5 and warmbloods are inbetween.

Anything above 2.5 is draft...That's all I can say because that's all I breed for LOL

Riding Horse: under 1.5
Warmblood: 1.5 - 2.49
Draft: 2.5 and up

Edit: Did a search and exactly 1.5 is WB and exactly 2.5 is Draft

I will breed a warmblood with a bone of over 2 (To a draft) and I will nearly always get a draft baby.

2.5 is 100 % Draft...At least it is if you go by the game search :)

Here is the lightest horse in the game and the heaviest horse in the game. They were actually both bred by the same person.

And 3.65 is massive! The ground probably shakes when that horse runs. :P If you tried to jump it, I bet the impact of that horse landing would be enough to make the poles fall out of the cups lol.

I wonder if there's an upper limit for bone density. The lowest limit for bone density would be 0 so if Drafts get the same 1.5 range as Riding Horses, that would mean that 4 would be the upper limit but I don't know if that's how it works. I know height is capped at 18hh so I'd imagine bone has a limit as well.

@WindwardFarm I would say 4 would be the limit. There are no horses even close to being close to 4 so I can't see it being any higher.

Do we know if the bone density might help the max height? I've suspected a cap at 18hs so far, but I was also wondering if bigger bones might help. Anyone have a giant drafts line? :)

The shortest horses in the game are 12hh and the tallest are 18hh so I'd guess those are the two height limits. There are 7 pages of 18hh horses so if you could get taller I'd think that someone would have gotten one by now.

This is the biggest Bone along with Height...I actually find the shorter Draft carry heavy bone

One of my friends was trying to buy heavy drafts. Not sure if she is still or not. Currently I am trying to get super tall riding horses! My tallest RH. So far the tallest ones I have bred myself have been altered.

I have some WB's that are 18 hh. I wish I could find a really light boned RH to breed them to. But then after I get them to 18 then I want to try and get the bone weight under 1. (the one I linked is not from from being a WB himself. In fact he has a draft grandparent.)

I would LOVE a 18hh Draft....but then I would be greedy and want the bone density to match. I have just started a new line to experiment with size over colour.

I believe that 18 hands is the limit because of the constraints of the horse image box size. I think Ammit said that this is the upper limit for height.

Goobanni, I too love the Drafts and want to get tall and heavy on one horse. My problem is I get distracted by making creates, lol. I do have a lot of foundations that are bone density of 315 to 325 so I may be able to help you if you want. I am also trying to cut down on so many types of colors, and trying to start working on Brown appys, Liver chestnuts, and Double cream Champagnes (cremello based), and Bay with DP. So I've got tons of heavy horses that don't go along with those breeding ideas, I just haven't gotten rid of them, because I show all my horses and they got some points. Let me know what your after and I may have a few in my barns I can find for you.

I had no real intention of breeding livers but that seems to be the way I am heading LOL...They are so pretty and all the patterns show up so well. Big,Tall & Flashy...makes me sooo happy :x

Yep, you're right. That's why my cull percentage is like 90%. LOL. And until just recently I didn't even have SBA.

@HunterUnderSaddleGirl, How much of a shock did you get once you could test with SBA?

I have such a huge cull rate too lol I try not to look at the pretty ones until they pass testing...that way it isn't so hard to get rid of them :))
