Het Wild Bay DP?
-
Out of 6 rolls trying for a decent Wild Bay foundation stallion I got 4 chestnuts, 1 Cremello and this guy:
WM1 Heez Wild Awright
DP or not? -
Not DP, still pretty though, and if you get DP mares you can get DP wild bays that are bright red.
-
He might actually be DP, as he's buckskin and not bay.
-
This is a sooty sooty wild bay buckskin with DP. DP makes wild bays look similar to their single sooty form. The weird fluke. haha

@Wytchmore,
That color is actually a "Glitch". It isn't Dp. A long while back Ammit mentioned it was a color glitch and was going to fix it eventually, but I think that everyone likes it so much she hasn't done it yet.
Eitherway, it is not Dp that creates that color on the horse.Thanked by 1Wytchmore -
It's one of the many reasons people breed for A+ because for some reason it has a lot of glitches and everyone loves the outcome of those glitches lol. I was talking about A+ in a Homo vs Het thread just for that reason.

I rarely get any buckskin wild bays since cream rarely creeps in, but I can supply a small confusing chart for normal wild bay. I can never figure out DP in wild bays, but by god I LOVE how it just does what ever it wants. It's such a wide and random gene as far as colour goes!
I have these two who are het DP,
II Buba
IV Kitty Wish
These questionables,
I For All The Trees

II Big Bang
And then the shades of who knows, lets keep them;
I Dark Detest

II Ghost Stole
I Burrow Deep
I Wanderlust
III Kitty Cup

@Bourbon--it's probably just my really bad eyesight, but I find that it's much harder to pick up the subtle variations in the darker colors on a dark backdrop. However, I would be willing to bet your 4 chocolatey colored kids are not DP.

If anyone wants a good look at a lot of wild bays with DP, check out this boy and his offspring. He is DP DP S S...so all of his offspring are at least DP dp. Many have one sooty. There are duns and Champagnes and a few creams. There is a huge variation in reddishness of coat, from really bloody red to a more orangey tan even in horses with the same genotype, so it's fun to look at them and see the range that DP can create in wild bay.
Designed To Be Wild
I've created a replacement for this boy in my new Gulstra Plume line. This time I've gone for all 4 darkening alleles...looking forward to seeing this guy all grown up next month!
