R5 HH True Breeding today - Failed?
-
Has anyone elses HH from Ammit failed today?
It's supposed to be a True Breeding one and it failed, just wondering how that could be possible?
R5

R4

I had it happen to the R4 last month, but the R5 today was the rare gift from Ammit, so I'm really, really confused. Can any one help? Thank you. -
Those ones aren't from Ammit...?
Any rank has a possibility of getting a range of breedability except for TNP, PF, Exceptionally Perfect and Exceptional Producers. RS are either PF or Exceptionally Perfect. True Breeding just means that if you breed two of those hh horses together, you'll get a foal of exact same type (eg true breeding silver brown appys will produce silver brown appys when bred together).Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable.Thanked by 1Astarla -
Mine came as a gift from Ammit, it was my one use one, the R4 did not. I see what you are saying about the breeding though. It was the first HH from Ammit that I have had fail.
Thank you for clarifying the breed part though @ObsidianKitsune :) -
Today's gift from Ammit was an Exceptional Producing Splash, not a true breeding brown Appaloosa.
The ranks have nothing to do with the quality of the horse produced unless specifically stated in the title--Perfect Foundation, Great Show Horse, Exceptional Producing, etc. The ranks have to do with how rare that particular combination of colors and patterns is, so a true breeding brown appy is quite rare, while a dark chestnut is relatively common. But all creates from a regular color based Daily Herd Helper can span the full range of showing ability, breeding ability and consistency available for Foundafions. -
True breeding means when you breed two of those together they "breed true". In other words they always produce foals that look like the parents.

No problem! It gets confusing if you've grabbed shares from a lot of DHHs!
