Pasture size

What pasture size would you recommend for a newish player? I'm thinking of making the most of the 25% off to buy two small pastures but wandering if its better to buy something bigger for later on in the game. Thanks :)

I would go medium or 60 stall, I think. There is a slight bulk discount and you'll be happy for the space later, believe me. It might be nice to have extra barn space if you do go for it, though.Thanked by 1ConfluenceFarms

If I were you I wouldn't go for a very big one. Since you can only breed one gen at a time in there I don't think there is need for a very big one. Everyone's different though :DOwner Of Bellwether Farm

If you buy a small secondary pasture where you breed selected mares to selected stallions you will find that very useful. You only need a v small second one. That way you can swap your mares over when ready to breed without losing their bonus. xx

Personally as someone who is starting from scratch, I have a 30 horse pasture where I keep all of my mares for breeding only and move them into the primary pasture when ready to breed. It also helps me keep my barn on a smaller scale.Thanked by 1ConfluenceFarms

Like RunFarAway mentioned, it depends on your primary pasture. If you have no upgrades and wont get any any time soon, get a bigger pasture. If you do have an upgrade, a smaller pasture wont hurt at all and will probably be for the best.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

Thank you everyone for your helpful recommendations, I know I'll find some use for any pasture I buy, regardless of size but its good to be able to make an informed decision :D

Whatever you do, don't waste money on the 10 pastures lol I bought a 60 and a 100. I'm very happy with the 100
