Just a tip... The ad makes it seem like he IS KP. But you don't know if he is. There is only a 50% ;)

Maybe you could remove him from one of his breeder's clubs for a moment to see if he is eligible for the KP club?

He's not, he's heterozygous at best.

Yes, to be eligable for the KP club the horse has to have two KP genes and two KIT genes.
