How do I get the Orange out of this coat?
-
How do I get the Orange out of this mares coat I don't like it? I turned her pearl and it turned Orange. Her parents coats are way better and not orange. Do I take the champagne or Amber out?
Stardust Dream -
Amber and Champagne are the same thing :) Amber describes what color Champagne she is (There's Classic, Amber, Sable, and Gold Champagne). But I think if you GMT the Champagne off it might change the color.
-
I think, unfortunately, it's the combination of pearl and cream that are causing the orange color. She's bay underneath (from the Ee Aa) but the cream diluted her buckskin. The pearl on top of the buckskin muted the colors into the more orange. If pearl is what you're going for, I'd take off the cream so just the pearl is on top of the bay.
Searching for other horses with both Ccr and Cpl showed a mix of near white horses and horses with the orangey color. -
Did a couple of quick searches, if you made her a palomino pearl (ee) that may help. Could also try making her flaxen if you do (ff). Or just reroll her portrait a few times and see if it changes that way. I agree that the bay base is going to give you darker pigment in the points (legs, mane, and tail).

I'd love her to be a palomino color how would I do that?would I just have to change her to (ee)?
-
Yep, ee
-
Ok awesome thank you :) I did take the champagne off would that make a difference?
-
The champagne wouldn't have contributed to the orange colour, so I think it shouldn't do :DAztecArabians

Ok thank you :)

don't forget you can't gmt for things that her parents doesn't have. I haven't looked at her yet.

Mums ee and dad is eE so it's possibleProducer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable. -
I think the orange is because she's bay, so her points are darker than her body. All you need to change is to (ee) or (aa). :) Ee aa might make her all orange, though. :P
-
yes I'm going to change her to ee when I get money today :) I hope that turns her palomino like her mommy
-
this horse is bay and pearl and he is not orange I don't see why my filly turned orange. is it because the filly is cream to?
A Dragons Hope -
There are just different variations of colors. Try re-rolling a few times to see if it changes her color, before you GMT.
-
it doesn't I already tried she is still just this horrible orange color. it only changes the shade but she is still orange
-
It worked she turned palimino! Yay!
-
StarFire I think that Dragons Hope horse is not orange because he has too much white from the splash and tobiano hiding the orange. The tips of his ears look orange.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

I added the other copies of splash and tobiano to him and he still was nots nearly as orange as the filly
