I know its unlikely that anyone is willing to part with their 2G Brindle mares, but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
Looking for some ladies for this guy next season.

@HunterUnderSaddleGirl just thought I should give you a heads up, but brindle is completely random so breeding two brindle horses wont necessarily give you a brindle! I think I remember hearing that it may increase the chance a bit, but overall the Mosaic phenotype is random.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable. -
Also you should talk about when you're both on in PM, as someone may be watching and waiting, ready to snap up a pretty brindle!Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

@Obsidian ok thank you! I always wondered how much of a difference it makes anyway, but I like the brindle look anyway and they are normally RS. I know I have about 5 brindle mares and always breed to my brindle studs and haven't gotten a brindle yet. Then I breed all my brindle stallions (as that's mostly what I have) to all of my mares and have only gotten one brindle. I think it makes it all the more exciting
Thanks, you're right on that front too, and I will PM them.Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses. -
Going further into what @ObsidianKitsune said, brindle in real life isn't genetic, but in this game having brindle parents does increase your chances but only a tiny bit. Breeding brindles is rare. It took me almost a whole real life year to breed my first one. But i do like breeding brindles together to see what they'll give me :) (This breeding season i got 2 intact brindles!)
-
I got a non intact one this year. Was super bummed because I missed it and was considering getting a GMT to unalter but she failed her test and had 8.5 PT. Super bummed. And she only had one brindle parent so that was surprising to me.Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

I've seen brindle foals with no brindle parents :) But I have a total of 5 lined brindles and all have at least one brindle parent. And that's 5 brindles in almost 2.5 real life years. I think I cried when I got my first brindle which was this guy. He was the only one of my 5 brindles that got snipped by testing. I hand snipped one of my brindle mares for papering yellow but she had passed breeding advice (even the new stricter testing).:

Those are all gorgeous, congrats! Wow ice and brindle on that last one. Double congrats! Just out of curiosity how many horses do you normally breed in a game year? I buy create mares for 2500 breed them to my brindle studs and sell both mare and foal and get 5000. With this manner all 4 of my brindle studs have had 50 mares so 200 foals this month and 1 was a brindle.Breeder of any and all crazy colored drafts and RH horses.

Well I currently have 6 foundation studs that I breed to for different genes and I have 153 foundation mares that I breed to them. Out of that 153 foundation mares, 46 of them are brindle rank specials. But it's changed here and there over the past couple years. 2 of the 6 studs I use now have brindle as well as ice genes. I used to use my other 4 brindle studs a lot more often way back when but once I change what I wanted to breed for, they didn't really fit the criteria.Thanked by 1HunterUnderSaddleGirl
