I'm here to ask what to do with
Lycanthropy. He's a mess. I think he's pretty but he's probably just taking up space in my barn. I've never seen a score that low on PT anywhere else on this website lol He didn't get auto-gelded so I have some small amount of hope and I'm all for lost causes but I would love a second opinion. Please help. [-O<

Keep him!

I think these ones are fun. You never know if they are good breeders until you try. Keep an eye on the AFPT score and that should help you figure out if he is a hidden gem or a dud. :D

PT and breeding ability are not related. (Repeat this mantra 47 times to achieve inner peace!)

Now, he may trip as he goes to jump the dummy, or bump into the mare and piss her off, but, if he passed breeding advice his babies should be purty good!

Ammit has reactions from Dorris for PT scores below 0 and below -1, so they must have shown up some time. I must admit that I don't remember seeing any myself.

In this game, I have a couple that are 0.3. :D

I have a mare with .4 and she produced nice foals. See link below so you should be good with breeding as it was suggested above.

Just because his PT is low does not mean he would be a bad breeder. Usually the ones with low PT are better at breeding. But if I'm wrong someone please correct me lol

The only cure is to breed him ;) he could be a gem, but will be probably be useless as a show horse. So I'd shove him in pasture for a few seasons!

@MustacheMeadows I could probably put up a mare or two for brood for you to try, cheaply, if you want next season. All my foundations are either perfect foundations or higher, so the quality of the foal will be basically determined by how bad/good the stud is.

PT is 100% NOT related to breeding. At all. Ever. It is ONLY used in relation to showing, unless you're looking at AFPT.

I agree that you should keep him! One of my best brood mares had a PT of 4.0 (not as low as some of these other guys :)) ) plus it's super fun to keep horses with such a low PT. I think it's hilarious
