I just joined this game this afternoon and I'm still figuring out how to play and I'm not getting far. Any tips? Please help!

DragonRun has given you lots of good advice, but you still may have questions. We are a friendly group, so don't hesitate to post any specific questions you may have here.
An important point about this game is that everyone sets their own goals and works to achieve them. It's not a competition. If you want to breed horses to sell, then it might be important to breed to the expectations of the more picky players, but there is nothing wrong with just playing for your own fun and enjoyment.De gustibus non disputandum.
