Can we still reset testing?
-
I think I remember when mare advice was made stricter a long time ago, we were able to retest all of our stock. I can't seem to find the link to that anymore, so I'm not sure if it still exists. Maybe it's right in front of me and I'm just not seeing it, haha.
I'm currently trying to test all of my horses, and I noticed I had one Dark Chocolate mare paper as red, and another paper yellow. The red papered girl I believe was already tested prior to these new changes, and the yellow was not (tested yesterday). I think the yellow is correct since they are not exceptionals, just regulars. I'm just wondering how many of my other horses have wrong paper levels :(. Would this affect the new breeding advice too? Since it now tests against both sires and dams, instead of just one.

I believe I saw Ammit say on facebook that the ranks specials are so tight to the border between red and yellow paper level that they can paper either way on random chance. I wouldn't worry about it, and I would assume that they are both equal quality, even if one says yellow and one says red.
I know for a fact that Ammit has said that the mares who were papered before the change would in almost all cases paper the same after the change. So I don't think she intends to provide a reset link this time around.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

I can't find the original HJ2 link, but if it still works I think it would be something like this

Thank you, Kintara! That was what I was looking for!
It seems to work, but only for breeding advice/strict, which is what it was intended for I guess.
It looks like it IS affecting the horses though! Just tested a pasture of mares that I already tested today, and came out with more alters. I knew they weren't high quality horses, but they were cute so I kept them. This new strict breeding advice is ruthless. I like it.

Hmmm... to retest or not to retest... I think I just might have to do it :D

I just reset my testing. Out of 100 Foals (Which all had all originally passed strict testing) 10 got spayed. Oh well, at least I know I will be left with quality.
I did lose my Brindle girl though :-((♡ ID #23495 ♡

I reset mine and all but one of my 6th gen girls and all but 3 of my 7th gen girls got snipped. Well at least that saves me the trouble of snipping them tomorrow :D

It leaves the guess work out of it and snipping the pretty ones lol♡ ID #23495 ♡
