Pasture Questions?
-
1. Do you get some kind of bonus for everyday that the mares are in pasture or is it just at 14-30 days?
2. What is the pasture bonus? lol Is it just more intact foals?♡ ID #23495 ♡

The "bonus" works this way.
Every day a mare remains in the pasture, a little virtual slider creeps up, hiding a few points from the bottom of her breeding ability range. This continues for 30 days. When she is removed from the pasture, that virtual slider disappears, and the whole range is once again active.
The practical result is that her potential contribution to her foal's abilities now comes from the top end of her range. Her foals are more likely to have a higher PT score and also to have the best breeding ability possible.
However, since the stallion's breeding ability has not been shortened in this way, he might be contributing from the bottom of his range, so there is no guarantee of a better foal every time.
So, yes, there is an improved chance of an intact foal, but there is also an improved chance of a higher PT foal that isn't intact. Randomness still rules, it's just a bit more restricted.

Pasture breeding is far more economical than hand breeding. I don't see many people waiting for the 14th day automatic breeding. I was curious about the cost of pasture breeding if you leave it for the 14th day to work its magic. Do I have to make sure I have the funds ready for that day? Haji bucks bank balance is still very much an issue for me as a new player.

Oh, I remember those days! Yes, it would be a good idea, if you're going to wait for automatic pasture breeding, to make sure your bank balance will cover it. If you check your primary pasture, you will see an announcement that tells you how much it will cost, so you'll know what to save.
If you don't have enough, your bank balance goes into the red, and you'll be majorly restricted in what you can do on the game.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."
