I'm back (Now with baby goats!)

Although I was keeping an eye on things I was not able to work Wed-Sat. Why?
Here is the reason!
We had three baby girls born on our farm this week. Wednesday I had to finish getting everything ready for them. Thursday was spent helping with the birth, and Friday and Sat was spent in a mix of catching up on sleep and some vital fencing repairs/buying feed that needed to be done. But I am back at the grind stone and will be going over all your posts and issues and fixing those lost pasture/stall count bugs.
Baby 1 is sold and already at her new home. Baby two is named Melody and baby three is named River. Anyone have suggestions of registered names? We could just do Oakroot COC Melody and Oakroot COC River but I think I might like something a little more special.

How about something like Oakroot COC Song Of Spring (nickname Melody), and Oakroot COC River Of Dreams (nickname River). Not actually sure of how many letters your allowed in your naming, as I have never registered goats, only dogs, so I'm only used to AKC limited lettering.

Wait, she was born this week and already re-homed? I didn't realize you could do that with goats. Bottle feeding?

Yep. She was fed a bottle with in hours of birth to get her used to it and was on her way to her new home with in 24 hours. Martha (the dam) did not even realize we had stolen one (she can't count past two). Her new momma has raised hundreds of baby goats on a bottle and many diary goat people raise all kids on a bottle. It's pretty normal in the goat world.

Does COC have to be part of the registered name? Can it be COC Oakwood ___? What about The Oakwood Melody or Sweet Oakwood Melody and Oakwood River Blues?Purple Sage Estates - 129

It's Oakroot not Oakwood. The name must start with Oakroot and nothing else. It is a herdname like the kennel names with show dogs. It is not optional. COC is the sires initials and will be added.
