Trying to change Ccr to Cpl but it won't let me

Hi I'm trying to use a GMT on my filly to make her a full Cpl but it won't let me change Ccr to Cpl...why? How do I do that it's saying I can change Ccr to C but not to Cpl

You can only GMT lined horses with genes that the parents had----

Her sire does not carry pearl, so it is impossible for her to be homozygous pearl. That is why the game won't let you change it.

If you're hoping for foals with CPrlCPrl, both the stallion and the mare have to be at least CPrlC (or CPrlCcr). It's even better to have parents that are both CPrlCPrl. Then you're certain to get a foal that will show its pearl.

Thank you I love his coat so much but should have papered star..I bred a colt with the same 11.7 points and he papered star but this one didn't I wonder why..

Papering is to do with breedability and PT is to do with training. Those two are not related, which is why you see show ponies with very high PTs but they were gelded/spayed by the SAT test or something similar.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
