Should I start focusing on making a new line?
  • I have a rely deep love for bay splash horses and I wanted to make a new line. They'd obviously have to meet some standards. That or nice bay drafts with four white legs and markings on their face? Or maybe silver drafts! I'll have to make a list and see what everyone is interested in... What do y'all think?

    Update:
The first couple horses in each new line!

    Silver bay drafts:

Bay warmbloods: I've only got one that meets the standards but I've got a tobiano mare that I'm not sure I want to breed with him

My standards are all four legs have some sort of white marking and some sort of white marking on their face. Anything can have markings on their body but they've got to have legs and face markings.

I'm not 100% sure if I want to breed her with chance but it could be worth a try

  • Silver drafts sound beautiful :x
  • Silver drafts sounds nice.
  • You could combine them all and do silver bay drafts with splash!

I have a hard time choosing so I have a few different lines going on so that I can have variety.

  • I think splash with low white factor would give you horses with white stockings and faces. Silver bay splash drafts would look amazing!

I really need to start organising my ponies into lines...
  • I have an obsession with silver dun drafts (I love dapples), and that's my main breeding goal, now that I look at how many I have. ;)

    Clickie.
  • Develop different lines only because they are a color or pattern that YOU like, not something you think someone else will like. Color and pattern fads change quickly in this game, especially if Ammit introduces something new or updates how an old gene looks.

This game is not a competition, and showing, not breeding or breeding to sell the foals, is the best way to make money. Everyone else is breeding their horses, and we all end up with more foals than we can keep (unless we've had time to develop a really, really large stable that has enough horses showing and gathering points that it pays for almost anything we'd like to do).
