Why can't I sell my straws??

Hi all please help me :-S I have an basic upgrade, and I have been trying to sell some straws to someone. But when I think I have sent them, the other person says that they are not there. Am I doing something wrong?

Double check that the ID is correct and there's a price. After you sell The straw it should be listed below that you have sent X straw to So&So for $

Make sure there is no blank space in front of the ID number of the person you are selling straws to. I have learned to check for that error. The program doesn't recognize the number with a space in front of it.De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Thanks to everyone, I found the problem it was because I did not set the expiry date before trying to sell. But thank you for all your help and your advice so I know what to do and not to do the next time. Thank you ^:)^

You should be able to sell them without an expiration date if you want

You can't set it and sell them at the same time.
