Welcome to Hunt and Jump, Jenn. I think it's probably accurate to say that we're all horse lovers in this game. Many of us also love or come to love learning about horse color genetics and how to breed for our favorite colors or patterns. One thing you can be sure of, except for a few special fantasy genes put in the game just for fun, all the color genetics are based on the latest scientific knowledge. When that knowledge changes or is updated, Ammit does her best to get the changes into the game. That sometimes takes a lot of programming know-how on her part, too.
