Yule Log Candy Horse
  • Soooo.... As a new member whO is utterly broke.... Apparently these sell for good money? How much?
Or am I better off keeping a hold of her? Thanks!

  • I will give you 200k for her.

The mare is probably worth 25k or so--haven't seen many Yule Logs up yet. She is a perfect foundation Rank Special brown with brindle, so she's relatively valuable as a breeder. She also carries a GMT token which would cost 250k game cash to buy. Once someone turns in the token, she will lose her fancy candy stripes the next time she is refreshed or rerolled. The stripes can't be passed on to her offspring.

  • To elaborate on whether you should keep her, she would be a relatively valuable broodmare to a new player. I'm not sure if you could use her GMT token without upgrading, but you could turn her in for it and save it in case you decide to upgrade your account. Once you turn her in there is no way for you to sell the GMT.

GMTs are used in the Gene Mod Treatment Lab under Advanced Facilities. They can be used to alter the genes a horse has within certain boundaries. Some genes can be altered for just one token, others cost up to 40 tokens for a single copy.

  • Your best bet is definitely to sell her. 200K is a good price. Might get 225 for her. Then use that money to buy a 15 stall barn.

  • I would pm cheers. She is on almost a flipped time schedule so she will get her as soon as she checks in:-)
  • Hey Castel! Yeah, I'm in Australia so it can be a little random to get ahold of me as I am asleep when y'all are awake!

At such a high price you should be able to put the mare up for general sale and I should be able to get her even if I'm a few hours behind! If someone else gets her at that high price I think that is still plenty fair.

To sell a horse to the general market, go to her page in your barn and click the Control Panel. At the bottom left of that screen you will see a place to "Place this Horse for Sale" and probably 2500 will already be in the box. That is a default price and does NOT mean your horse is up for sale. Change the price to whatever you want to sell that particular horse for (I recommend never less than 2500 unless it is meant to be a gift) and hit Sell Horse.

When you go back to your Barn page you will see a Dollar Sign over to the right of her name in the Status column. That means she is up for sale. Anyone can buy her and it is technically against game rules to put a horse up for general sale for someone specific, but if you are ever needing to work a direct sale you can do that by arranging to put your horse up for sale when the buyer will be online so that the transfer can be made quickly with less likelihood of someone else buying the horse.

  • Oh! If you would let me know when you put her up I will go looking for her! Just put a comment here to let me know please!
  • @Cheers it looks like the mare was already bought by someone else
  • Sorry Cheers! Managed to work that out and did that, thinking noone else would think of looking... but apparently someone did :( Sorry x
I am Aus also, but WA so 3 hours earlier then u
  • All good, hon.
