ISO Brindle WB or Papered Stallion WB
  • Looking for a Brindle WB or a Papered (A or better) WB Stallion.
  • @GoneAWOL, what generation are you looking for?
  • Hi AWOL.

Generally foundation stallions (created rather than bred) paper C, with the new ExPerfs or ExPros (like today's Bring Back the Sun Rank Special) Papering B. Gen 2s usually paper C or B or the rare A, with most people snipping C papered gen 2s. The general consensus for most serious breeders is that gen 3 and 4 should Paper A, with the 4s comparing as better than the 3s. Again, you will find the rare gen 4 that is a *Star. At gen 5 *Stars start to become the expected Paper level.

While there is no right or wrong way to play this game, breeding your herd "evenly"--so that your pedigrees have all the foundations in the same vertical column--is generally considered desirable if you want to sell intact stock or put up horses for public breeding. Some players are more flexible about that than others... Also breeding horses of similar breeding ability is more likely to get you foals that pass basic testing intact. So breeding an A papered stallion to foundation mares is likely to give you lots of spayed or gelded show ponies, but not many future breeders. That's awesome if you want show ponies, but if you are trying to build a breeding herd you may find yourself frustrated...

Brindle is probably the rarest pattern in the game as far as it being present in lined horses. It is not directly controlled by a gene. It is very slightly more likely to manifest when brindle is present in the pedigree, but they are almost impossible to breed for. There are a handful of lined brindle stallions currently known in the game but there is almost no chance that any of them are for sale. If you really want a lined brindle, you should use the Horse Search to find them and directly Message the owners.
  • @GoneAWOL, hmm, I have to agree with Cheers. It will be difficult to find an A papered brindle warmblood of any generation aside from foundation.

If I come across any I will let you know, but I only have foundation at this time. Good luck! :)
  • The only (currently) A papered Brindle stud in the game, and I doubt the owner will part with him; if they do, it will be for a lofty sum I imagine. And as a side note, the owner has not be on in a year (real year not game year).
