So I just started this game with no money or anything... how do I start earning money

The big money earner will be points from your horses. Enter then in shows as much as possible as that will be your bread and butter. In the beginning while you wait for your points to build, I believe you should get a weekly income :) Breeding/selling quality horses never hurts, either!
