Do you start loosing horses when they turn 17 or 18? I have 64,000 points on horses that are 16 and over right now:-( I will be broke.

Rollover between their 17th and 18th year.

Some go at 17, but I noticed a larger number of mine go at 18. I still have some in their 20's though. I always pull straws if you can when my favorite stallions are 16. Same with getting eggs from my favorite mares at 16.

I have 219 horses 17 or older in my stable. The oldest is 26 and another 19 are 20 or older. I didn't bother to add up the points they've earned in their lifetime.

I have 59 on the chopping block this season. The top 5 point earners all have more than 1000 points each. My oldest appears to be 21 years old.

She is 17 but she is my favorite mare. I have only had her about 2 months but it will hurt when she passes. I hope she makes it through.

I have 6 over 2000 point horses. Highest is almost 2600

Becca they don't start dying til rollover between 17 and 18 so you definitely have one more season with her.

I have been anticipating this moment with dread for a few months now. My first time with a horse in that window, and he is definitely one of my Favorites. You all know that Wildly Generous is 17 by now, and Best Friend, I totally feel you!

Wow, Maribo, I am not close to that number. I have 195 that could go this year, with my top points earner at 2692 All Time Points, this morning. Including my first Special Splashes, Spl2, Secret Santa gift from Cheers last year. My oldest are 23 years, Peppys Logger, and Sleepless In Seattle.

Paints one of the ones I'm dreading losing is your Butters Loggin, my first show pony with more than 1000 points.

@ Cheers, ah, Butters Loggin...... [-O< Hopefully another season or so for some more points. Quite a few of my show horses with higher life time points, came from my buckskin, Buttermilk and Loggin lines. Which started from my very first stallion create of the game, a buckskin warmblood, named Hunters Moon. It is exciting to see that my original buckskin line produced high lifetime points earners. WooWhoo! That's what I'm talking about.... \:D/

This girl is 17 so I might lose her but if I do she'll be going out with a bang because she just won Champion Points Earned by Foundation Horses Year 41 Rabicano Breeders Club! I've only had her a few months but shes been a great show horse.

The two I'll be most sad to lose are my two 17 year old brindle girls.

I've got a few more great broodmares and great show horses that are at risk of aging out.

I hope everyones favorites make it through!
