I know Ammit said she fixed it where you could activate a herd helper you already activated once you cleared and closed the first one. The thing is... I didn't have this HH activated at all and had only rolled it that once and I was told I couldn't activate it until the other was cleared... buuut... I didn't have any HH activated, so it's weird...

I lucked out with catching a Yule Log share yesterday and then managed to roll one of my own. It would not let me activate the one I rolled until I had used the share.

In any case.
I still believe that you cannot activate the same HH twice a day.

I'm having that same HH problem. The error message in orange above is: This Herd Helper is already active and can not be activated again until other copies are cleared.

But there is no other same HH active. And it won't let you proceed to the next one like it used to do while leaving no second copy in your HH list. Now it is just stuck on the one.

It seems to be happening with every second choice. It clears by re-rolling but then you lose the one it claims was a repeat. I lost a couple of ExPro HH today. No Rank Specials yet, so far.

7:35 AM PT: Same problem here - I have a Hom Sooty HH active, the next one up is Gray and Cream. And it's telling me I can't activate Gray Cream until I clear my Hom Sooty.

7:45 AM PT: Update: have created and cleared the hom sooty HH. Still cannot access the Gray Cream. Logged out, cleared cache, logged in, and was able to activate Gray Cream, but problem persists with next HH in line.

Wondering - should I cross post this comment on Ammit's announcement? I've never been directly involved in a bug discussion before.

Yesterday I missed out on Exceptionally Perfect hh and today the same thing happened with an ExPro Tobiano. I tried to activate each one, but they said they were already active even though there were no other hh's open. It's very frustrating.

I have repeatedly tested this, every single day and repeatedly and cannot recreate this issue. It works perfectly fine for me.

I am guessing @folliesrh might be on to something. I need better troubleshooting or for someone to at least create the issue and let me log into their account with the issue active.

@Alohomora, when you reroll your herd helpers, do you use the button or refresh the page?

Ammit, feel free to check mine tonight, if you want. I can seem to activate the first, third, etc. It's always the "second" that gives me issues. I'd let you do it now, but I already rerolled all my DHHs. I figure maybe starting from HH #1, and trying each one may help you?

The issue was a completely unrelated to active herd helpers at all.

It was a highly specific instance of free herd helpers sticking after activating one. If you logged out or rerolled your herd helper in any way it worked again.
