RS DarkStorm FF NB

She has way to much white. I like to really see more liver. Im not sure what to cut. I like her to lose the big appy spots to. If possible. Thank

If she doesn’t have snowflake, it means she is just varnishing out like a lot of Appaloosas do. The only way to really fix it would be to remove the Appaloosa.

She has SnowFlake. I added 2 to her.

i think the only way to reduce the white/varnish from the snowflake is to remove one of the copies of LP to make her a blanket appy vs a leopard. But either way, snowflake is a version of varnish and will white the horse out over time

Here is a search of my snowflake horses, as you go through them you can see how the older they get, the more they lose their color. It’s just how snowflake works.

I was going to say remove one of the LP and make WF: none. But a quick search of my own herd tells me that's not fool proof either.

Just remove one of the Lp's, homozygous LP is fewspot, so yes mostly white. Having one Lp won't make big spots without patn1 I don't think

Your mare is so white due to the snowflake & her age.

Here is my stud with almost identical genes. He will white out like your mare as he gets older.
