Here is my boy. Love him, but he just had to get homozygous roan.
http://hj2.huntandjump.com/horse.php?horseid=572170 -
Nothing wrong with roan. You can reroll the brindle and it can show through.

I know. I just don't like roan with Appy.
-
Yes but marking urky disgusted sounds confuses new members and makes them think there is something wrong with the gene. When there isn't :) Giving a constructive reason like "I wish she did not have roan so I can see any varnishing" is a different matter.

Appaloosa brindle rank specials are flippin' amazing, and my guy got a cream gene and roan. I love buckskin roan apples, and now I have a brindle one.

Here is mine. She is plain but you definitely can see her brindling. I am excited to see her babies.
Thank you Ammit. She will be cherished. -
Oh, sorry. I didn't think of it that way. Was thinking more in the way of "that's my luck of late", with life in general. Didn't mean to offend anyone.
It's just my prefrence. -
Not upset in the least. I just have to be proactive because next thing you know you have people running around saying "Roan isn't worth as much", "or "No one likes dun" or whatever. We already had a cycle of that on HJ2 before. Constant Vigilance! :D

This is my girl. A little plain but that will make her babies all the more surprising. -

Loved this herd helper.SALVISTAR PERFORMANCE HORSES

I am LOVING the variations! The buckskins, the creams + dun, and a hayes' little rare flower double cream!
Kerredans I dont always love drafts (on the game not in real life in real life I LOVE drafts lol.) But your boy is awesome love his BIG spots!
Although I can't pick ONE favorite rank special this is definitely one of my very favorites.
ETA: Jailee - twice in a row now we've named our horses the same thing how funnyThanked by 1AHayesHorses -
This is my boy! My spouse wanted me to name him Doo-dad, so I did :D
Super jealous of the creams and buckskins but still so pretty
@best friend you could always try refilling your girl until you have a flashier version. Either way, I'm pretty sure she has varnish and with roan out to white with age----
Barn ID 4953 -
I am impressed with her. I can't wait to breed with Skull Dunnery.
-
My girl is homozygous for sooty, w20, and AtAt. Not sure what the last one is?
-
I know it is some form of Agouti.
-
It means she is homozygous for Brown. At is brown. Ata means it will show brown, AtA would show as bay, but AtAt shows as a lighter brown then Ata.
-
My pretty girl:

I just wish she'd show some spots! I know her offspring will be beautiful, though. I'm planning to breed her to my Diamond Age stallion.Have a nyce day! -
-
oooooo shes beautiful denalidom!
And shes pretty even without spots NYC! -
@a hayes horses, I love the double dilute and with dun. How cool is that!
And so many others are incredible. I love the variety of white expression. Super neat new herd helper. :DThanked by 1AHayesHorses -
Pretty horses everyone.
-
-
How do you know if they have varnish?
-
Most Appaloosas will have varnish. If you look at Lacy's horse above with the little fish tattoo, can you see that the upper half of the horse kinda looks "foggy", that is the varnish. You can see it really good on her neck.Thanked by 1Lacy512

Oh ok never noticed that before.
