I'm going to restart my bootstrap line. I'm going to try to get every special gene I can in it! I have no clue how this is going to work but it's going to be fun for me. I know it will take awhile and I'm honestly ok with that. I'm doing regular lives breeding as well with special genes and I'll just keep extra studs from that line for the bootstrap line too! I'm taking my time with these lines because it will give me a goal to work towards. I cant wait to see how it works out!

I've got some boys and a girl up in the bootstrap chatroom who have ice 1 if interested. May be able to find a het nexus girl I might part with too.

Are you doing this completely from scratch or would you like help?
I have nexus, ice 1 &8, and quite a few of the kit genes in my lines. I will be in the process of sorting and clearing a bunch of red and blue mares as soon as I can make the time.

@ObsidianKitsune I will totally check that out! It will help keep me from having to flush the girls to add it in!

I have Ice 1, Ice 8, Nexus, most if not all Kit patterns, Satin, S+, DP in my Bootstrap lines. I also always have excess Red papered gen 2 fillies from all my even lines (I only keep Blues) so I’d be happy to sell you anything you have a license for. I have every closed gene except for a few Ice genes that haven’t come up on roving Sales (or came up while I was travelling as I suspect I missed some this month).

I have this little Star papered boy who doesn't work for me as I am aiming for heavier boned studs.
He is het for nexus and Ice 8.

I love sharing my bootstrap stock! Take a look through my barns and PM me if there's anything you see that catches your eye - if it's so dear I can't sell, I'll absolutely share eggs/straws at the very least :x

I love satin and pearl so I have a good handful of that, and ice 1, a handful of nexus, lots of kit floating around my barn, more het snf/kp/dp than you can shake a stick at and a good handful of hom, 2Gs out of experfs of watercolor, thunderstruck, nacre, and next season ice 13 and wrong warp and axiom red, lots of macchi mares I need to get rid of as I'm redoing my macchi lines, chinchilla starting next year, some mushroom (not a whole lot but they're all hom), and plenty of other assorted shinies - I like my horses flashy!

So here's what I have so far! I'm hoping to add more special genes this upcoming breeding season and maybe some KitM as well! I have a ton of special genes, it's just hard adding it in when you have alot of it on mares! Let me know what you guys think!

I’ve had fun doing this too. And I don’t keep track of any genes of note including KP so it’s fun when it accidentally pops up. Occasionally I “reverse” bootstrap and let my foundation stallion have some blue/gold mares

I have a Star SplM boy I can send straws from. I also have Wrong Warp, Chinchilla and Mushroom (only A and B boys with those genes). I also have some Star KP bootstrap boys as well as lots of Satin and Sb2.

I have a few genes if you are short:-
sab 1, sab 2, ice 1, satin, pearl , sooty +, KP, DP, kit M of the rarer ones.
Dinascar has splash M, splash 2, W3, W10, W8, nexus, as well as what I have in her bootstraps.
