Yep, it's random! As Maria says, you can reroll - so just keep rerolling until you hit pink! For brightest colors, straight black would be the way to go, and every lightening thing you add will lighten the shade of the watercolor, until pale cremello and such horses you nearly can't tell they're any color but white.


Black with watercolor can be blinding:

Oh yes, there's lots more I didn't cover! I recommend using the horse search, selecting "must have" watercolor, and then browsing to your heart's content! I do enjoy the lovely two-toned effect of sooty+ :x
