I try to update it daily with pointed showhorses but have fallen waaaaay behind due to real life being hectic.

There are also quite a few established players that do show horse givaways regularly and I am sure you will hear from some. :)

Another good habit to get into is, every auction day, do a search for pointed horses.
The highest ones are usually snapped up by high bidders but you can often get some pretty decent ones for almost create price. That is what I did when I first started and my show bonus skyrocketed.

Also use your search for sales as well as auctions. I often pick up a few.

I would just like to reiterate (just in general, not specific to this thread) that players should not rely on giveaways, or big barn hand outs for your show herd. Part of the satisfaction of the game is learning the ropes and working to reach self sufficiency.

Wolveenfrosst, if you make it to 10:1 you have some serious will power to resist the shiney breeding ponies! :P

ConfluenceFarms yea I know it's crazy my ideas I make for myself don't always usually go to plan though, lol! I'm hoping next week I can go and buy some and continue to buy a few every week until I run out of space. I've also applied this to my other account that plummeted into a hole I dug myself into and skyrocketed from 15,000 to 42,000 points and growing! I'm hoping to apply what I did there here, accept help only if offered, go into auctions, go to sales, look out for pointed horse sales, etc. It's a long way to go but in the middle or end of sometime next year I'll get it, hopefully!

@Lallyhop that's what I'm hoping for haha! Easier said than done but I must if I'm to breed my pretties! I'm sure I'll at one point find myself I can't resist keeping too many foals and slowly lose that ratio, but it's worth a shot!
