Hi, so I got this mare in auction, and it turns out she has a copy of GP.

It might be interesting to get the GP expression in my herd, so I was wondering if anyone had a 2nd gen GP stallion they'd be willing to sell straws from and how much/ what restrictions. She is only three, so I have a month to explore options, and learn more about GP. Does it only express on bays? or can it also be seen on blacks? Could it show on other bay based colors too, like bay dun or rabicanno?

No it doesnt show on blacks. And it only shows on homozgysous GP horses. It shows on bays, browns, and buckskins. Yes it still shows if they are also dun. Rabicano is a pattern not a color. So yes if a horse has rabicano you will still see the horse's plume.

I have two 2nd gen GP boys..well 3 but 2 that I'd be willing to sell straws from!
