After an almost 2 year battle, my fiancé finally found out today that his 5yo quasi-stepdaughter will finally be coming home to us and her half siblings. (I say quasi because she is not his blood, but he is the only adult she has been raised with that is suitable to care for her) She will be coming home Tuesday, right before Thanksgiving. We had done a small dinner at the house this weekend since we had a visit with her, and hearing this news today has made us extremely thankful that things have finally started moving in the right direction.
