I'm in desperate need of money so I'm offering my horses up for sale and breeding...straws are available for studs as well. Please help!

ApollosLegacy, you also need to work on your show string. You've been playing since March and, of your 115 horses, only 9 are spayed or gelded!

I know... I'm awful with show horses...I love breeding so much I kinda get bored with the spayed mares and geldings...I need to get a barn for just show horses and start building a show string

Everyone loves breeding but you need to have a good show string to bring in a good bonus so you get to breed even more :) and youre very welcome.

Show ponies are definitely the basis of your whole operation! A good ratio is about 3 show horses for every breeder. You don't have to look at them if you don't want - just slap them in a barn and never look at them again, and focus on your breeding - but if you make yourself, say, buy or snip 5 show horses every time you buy or breed a new intact, you'll find your ratio quickly resetting itself into a number far more manageable for upkeep.

While my snipped to intact ratio is roughly 1:1, I only breed about a fifth to a fourth of my intact horses each year, and my nightly bonus of 40k is more than enough to fund my breeding + a couple mass flushes and some dinking about in the breeding lab every year, with leftovers for prowling through the auction and forum for shinies. I recently bought my first 1000 stall barn, and that's going 100% to show ponies, which has given me a nice bump to my show bonus. And that's pocket change compared to some of the bigger barns! I've seen people list nightly show bonuses upwards of 300k!
