Guy’s help!!
-
I finally started a line of horses and all the foundation stallion’s I have are White Wedding boys. I also like Kit M, and recently made a goal to put it on my youngest Wedding stallion, when I get the IVS. (Which will take forever since my budget is tiny.) I’d put it in the spot of kit w.
My plan was set....
And then chinchilla is on the roving sales. I love how it looks on Silver Black. I’ve always said I never really want to spend money on games and I’ve kept to that for years. But this is really tempting me. On the other note I’d do a lot more GMTing.
I’d want to add Silver
And sooty
And still kit m
So it went from remotely achievable to impossible.
Someone speak sense into me please.
This is my young fellow that would be getting the modifications.

So you would need 84 GMT tokens to finish this if you want everything hom. Am I correct in that?
-
Or are you wanting to do just het everything? Which would bring it down to 42 GMT tokens. (I'm trying to do the math for hbs.)
-
I’d to het kit m = 500,000hbs
Hom Silver 24,000 (I think)
And sooty doesn’t matter as much. So either way. -
Okay. So Kit m is 40 tokens. Silver would be 2 tokens for hom, and sooty would be 1 token for het and 2 for hom. 1 token is 20 IVs. 1 IV costs 12,500hbs (one weeks pay for a basic account).
So that would be: 10 million for the kit m, 500,000 for silver, and 250,000 or 500,000 for sooty. So it could be nearly 11 million if you wanted het kit m, and hom everything or 10,750,000 for het kit m, hom silver, and het sooty.
Suggestions:
You can do this if you use that breed and ship method in the auction and then use that money to buy IVs. But it will take you a bit still to save up. It all depends what your starting base is.
I would also suggest participating in the contests. There's always contests going on. Some have free hbs just for playing.
Getting your show bonus up is a big thing as well. 3 show ponies to every breeder. (I'm still working on this myself, I started wrong.)
Have you been able to save any GMTs up? How can I help? Have you been able to save up any IVs? -
I’ve been slowly growing my show bonus. I started wrong too. This month I did a lot of snipping.
This was a recent decision (2 days ago), so I haven’t started saving yet.
I have saved up IV’s in the past, but those went into barns. -
I hear you. I just bought my first 1000 stall barn, and my goodness it took a while to save for, but oh it's so nice to have for show ponies. I'm still stuffing it. lol Let me see what I can do to try and help. It might not be too much, but I'll do what I can.

Id wait a bit longer, if I were you. There is a possibility that white m will show up on the roving gene sales.
(And if my calculations are correct, it should be like 10 dollars per allele) -
Take a look in the auction for new creates with points. (Use the search and look for total points and age less than 5 years.) Bid on horses that are in the 200-300 point range (You can bid on the higher and lower ones, but the higher ones usually go into bidding wars.) Also look on the forums for new accounts that list their pointed new creates for sale. They are great to get the show bonus up. :)

@MariaChapinFarm3 except they don't want to use real money. That's why I'm trying to go through other ways to help.

Oh, the combo of stripes and corn spots on that stud is gorgeous! I just saw someone else's silver blue roan chinchilla and it was soo pretty!
I'm with you on the real money, this time of the year is tight for me and I just can't swing chinchilla this time around (and that's ok!). This summer I think some of the fantasy genes went on sale for IVs instead of real money. It's a long shot, but I'm crossing my fingers that that happens with Chinchilla (preferably at the same time that Rhythm of Four gets released again... dream big I guess). My dream stud is going to cost me 29 million hbs, or 2300 IVs. Right now I'm at ~150 ish IVs. You'll get there!ID# 43830

Thank you so much ChevalStables.
I’ve always held firm to not spend money on games. And this is the first one that’s ever really tempted me.
I’m not it a hurry either, since originally I hadn’t planned on doing any GMT projects until I was more established.
I’m going to leave chinchilla for another time, and without it silver, and sooty aren’t needed. -
I second Chavalstables. I’ve been working on increasing my daily bonus on my secondary account I hit up the auctions when I can.
I open the search page click “for auction” and advanced sort “total points.” I open every horses page I have time for and if the HJ bidder is the only one I put a bid on it. If it has a player bid already I pass it by.
I bid on everything that will make me a profit. Which if you put the horse back in the auction at the end of the month the horse only needs to make 100 hbs to break even (2,600 bid - 2,500 min bid =-100hbs) a lot of the top horses listed in the search will make it back before the next auction.
Cheers also had a show pony give away running until the end of the week I believe.
I don’t win all the horses I bid on but on Tuesday with my auction horses and cheers 5 show ponies my daily bonus went from 3482hbs to 6082 per day
