I have a couple people on HJ2 that I really want to get closed gene foundations for, (Christmas) but they do not own the gene. Is there any way that I could somehow buy the gene, put it on a horse, and give it to them on Christmas? (I wouldn't SELL the horses. I want to give them away)

Is this possible? I know that people could do that in the past, but Im not too sure about that now.

(Should I message ammit?)

I believe it is allowed with direct permission from Ammit or @ConfluenceFarms (least I think she is allowed to give the ok too) Ammit is gone for the week I believe so message to her may go unanswered for a little bit

I have already asked Ammit if it is possible to make several items available to purchase for other players (including tack packs!). I was planning on asking her about it again since December 1st is the start of Secret Santa Season!

In the past You have been able to give away closed genes by giving away the foundation, but that gives away your license to breed that color, well, if that was the only foundation you had. I got Machiatto because it was given to me, as in a foundation with the gene was given to me.

I know that you could in the past, but I remember that ammit said you cannot give a player that doesn't own the gene a foundation anymore.

They stopped attaching the license to the horse. Now as soon as you buy a closed gene, you get the license and if you want to sell the foundation horse you have to sell it to someone who already has it. I was curious as to how this would work for SS, too. I gifted a Thunderstruck foundation last year and I got an ice 14 one.
