In celebration of finally saving enough for a basic upgrade I want to run a small contest for the duration of the year 39 breeding season. I know we're not to year 39 yet, but I'm excited to announce it, so without further ado...

Welcome to the Salvistar Stallions Year 39 Breeding Contest! All foals sired by my stallions in Year 39 will be eligible entries for the contest. The contest will run from Sept. 1st to Sept. 28th. and includes several possible winning categories. I will announce winners sometime between Sept. 29th - 30th. Below are your possible winning categories:

Shortest Foal: 5,000 HB Prize
Tallest Foal: 5,000 HB Prize
Longest Color Name: 10,000 HB Prize (Determined by total character length of the color)
Favorite Foal: 10,000 HB Prize (See below for more details)
Randomly Selected Winner: 10,000 HB Prize
Grand Prize For The Breeder Of The Most Foals: 20,000

Players must make a registration post in this thread for their foals to be considered. Post the following: Forum Name - Barn ID

Favorite Foal Category:
Choose a foal that is your absolute favorite and post the following to this thread: Link to the foal - Why is it your favorite?
A winner will be chosen subjectively by me based on how much I also like the foal and the quality/creativity of your reason for choosing that foal.

Feel free to post questions here. Foals who are yummed cannot be tracked by me and will not be considered as entries for this contest. Straws to my stallions will be available by request either by private message or by posting to this thread. Nexus stallions will not be available for breeding unless you already have intact nexus horses in your barn, private message me if you are interested in a nexus stallion.

Took me ten tries, but I got an intact foal with Sooty+! And guess what? It's a boy! I like him because he's my first intact sooty plus stallion, and he has the black base coat, dun and white factor none I'm also looking for! Thanks so much, he's a dream!

These are only about half of my babies from your boys so far but I just wanted to share the prettiness!

I guess I'll start with my entry for my favorite. It was hard to pick just one! But this girl is my favorite shes homozygous satin which is one my absolute favorite colors in the game and I absolutely love how her splash makes her look like she was dunked in paint or milk lol. And shes also by my favorite stallion of yours! SO sad she got spayed!

Epicmatica, she is my favorite from you studs. She scored a 10.9 perfomance test, and the pattern on her rump/thigh area is similar to her sire's. Her PT is the highest I have bred.

Don't forget that everyone who wants to participate needs to post their forum name and barn ID here. I think most of you posting here have done that, but just in case. I know there are players who have bred to my studs but haven't posted here at all yet.

These are the only two I bred because I forgot to save mares. But anyway they are both perfect and both are perfect.

This is Ice Flower by Golden Ice and out of Bayabab. She has a lot of color and I can't wait to see her 2 year old coat.

Favorite foal:
I got lots of pretty draft foals from your stallions, but this girl is my favorite. She's sooty+ and splash, which are genes I love and want to introduce into my draft line. But, the real reason I love her is because drafts with her color and markings are my absolute favorite in real life. I've dreamed of owning a horse like her since I was little, and now I finally do (even though she's made of pixels).

This pretty filly is my favorite out of the bunch because of her color and expression. I've dreamed about having a horse as beautiful as her (in real life, of course). She looks so fun with her chocolatey look and that frame pattern! I love her color because liver chestnut has always been one of my favorite colors since I started playing the game <3. Plus, that staggering blue eye of hers! I wish I could see the other side of her to see if her other eye is also blue ;) The blue eyes make her look so innocent and angelic. Blue eyes are always gorgeous on any animal. Her little dapples also add a nice touch to all her patterns. As well as her small tail--- it looks like she sat in a puddle of paint and it dried on her tail!<br />
In addition to her looks, I'm glad I chose her name, Bubble Circus! The name fits her personality too well--- so fun, so cherubic, so elegant! Whenever I see her name, I imagine a fun little circus with bubbles floating around (and I laugh at the thought of it).

And thank you for offering your stallion, Six String Circus, because he created such a wonderful, happy, little foal for me!

I love him because according to his sire's notes, he is the first (or close to the first) A papered son, and also has the highest PT of the foals sired by the same sire. :) I love when I get a foal that papers at least as good as his sire.

Favorite - Funnily enough, "Uncle", was not my favorite to start out with. I had high hopes for him to paper at *Star, but he only made A. I thought about gelding him, but his color is so awesome! I held on to him, and after some comparing, he is one of my 5 gen stallions.

Do I need to link to every foal I bred by one of your stallions for the most bred contest?

Nope. The only foal you need to link is your favorite. I will go through the list of foals bred this year to find the winners in all of the other categories.

Only currently living foals will count when I take a look at the lists. I have no way of tracking down foals that were auctioned and deleted from the game.
