    This cutie is open for auction, I want to see if there is any interest before setting an auction end date. She is homogeneous sooty and heterogeneous for pearl and ice 8...I wouldn't be offering her if I didn't need the money, really starting to narrow down my herds and wanting to focus on specific Gene's and while ice is one of those genes... I think she has the most potential for interest...

    You'll probably get a bit more interest if you let people know she's also het snf, dp, and kp! Those are pretty popular genes :)

    Yes, they are all hidden genes, especially when het.
    That gorgeous little girl is packing a few hidden suprises from her sire.

    I would definitely slip those in in the title and body of this post. It will perk up more interest for sure. :)

    I kinda want to keep her now lol. I mean I was considering getting rid of her cause I needed funds, but...I love her...and woth all these hidden genes shes be fun to see mature

    Definitely! You won't see any of those hidden genes on her herself, but if you breed her to a snowflake you'll have a chance at snowflake babies, if you breed her to a KP you'll have a chance at KP babies, and the DP has a chance to show up really well any time you get a more plain baby where there's not as much white. (Not that the DP can't show on anything, but the white makes it harder to see).

    She definitely has tons of potential and is a nice size for your tall lines too.
    I have a half brother of her's that I can send your way if you like. They would have the potential at making some gorgeous babies in the future.
    All babies would definitely be hom pearl and could end up hom snf, KP, and DP.

    For snowflake, and KP, you kind of make your best guess. Usually you look back at the pedigrees of the parents look at their genetics and see where it is expressed there.

    The frustrating thing with snowflake and KP is that, to be visable, they not only have to be homozygus but they also have to meet additional criteria.

    With snowflake the additional criteria is that they need to be appy, so have at least one Llp gene.
    For KP they have to have two kit genes for it to show.

    That little boy above is actually hom snowflake so if he had inherited either of his parent's appy genes he would express it. One GMT would make him show.

    The hidden genes drive me crazy too. LOL!

    It takes time learning how to recognise them and predict how they will show up in your breeding. I am still quite a newbie with it. DP is difficult enough for me. LOL

    How does 10k sound?
    I just rerolled his portrait and he is definitely hom KP. The W20 with the large WF and sabino really washes him out and makes it hard to see.
    So he is definitely hom KP and snowflake!

    If you ever decide you don't want him let me know and I will buy him back off of you. :)
