The Meaning of Ammit's Name Finally Revealed (It's Not Short For...)

I was wondering which of the gods of the Egyptian pantheon was the one that weighed the hearts of mortals as they entered the afterworld, but I found this instead:
Ammit (/ˈæmɪt/; Ancient Egyptian: ꜥm-mwt, "devourer of the dead"; also rendered Ammut or Ahemait) was a demoness and goddess in ancient Egyptian religion with a body that was part lion, hippopotamus and crocodile—the three largest "man-eating" animals known to ancient Egyptians.
So unlike how my boyfriend Joe thought it might be short for Dammit, it's actually because she wants to consume all the players that exploit bugs, ask questions already answered in the post, and don't watch her livestreams. :P -
Brings a new meaning to back when auctioned horses were "Yummed", doesn't it? :P
